At approximately 4:40am on September 14, 2025, Halton Regional Police Service was notified of a serious collision on Trafalgar Rd south of Britannia Rd. A white Yamaha motorcycle was travelling northbound and collided with the rear of a blue Mazda sedan. The male rider of the motorcycle suffered a broken leg as a result of this collision. The driver of the Mazda exited his vehicle to render assistance, as did the drivers of two southbound vehicles. While assisting the motorcycle rider and awaiting EMS, a grey Toyota Sienna minivan travelling northbound collided with the individuals that were assisting the motorcyclist, one of which suffered serious head injuries as well as a broken leg. The Mazda driver and the motorcyclist were both transported to St. Michaels hospital in Toronto due to their injuries. The two other drivers who stopped to assist the motorcyclist suffered minor leg injuries and were transported to local hospital.
Due to the nature of the injuries, the Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken carriage of the investigation.
