On October 4th, 2025, the Halton Regional Police Service was advised that a second passenger involved in this collision from September 30th in Halton Hills has died in hospital. One other passenger remain in critical condition. The investigation remains with the Collision Reconstruction Unit.

Original Release:

On September 30, 2025 at approximately 3:51pm HRPS were notified of a serious single motor vehicle collision in the area of Regional Road 25 and 17 Sideroad in the Town of Halton Hills.  

A white passenger van had been travelling northbound on Regional Road 25 when it left the roadway, striking a tree. Three passengers in the van were transported to out of region trauma centres with life-threatening injuries. The driver was transported to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The Collision Reconstruction Unit attended and has taken carriage of the investigation.
