The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has laid multiple charges after two suspects were arrested during an early morning commercial break and enter in Milton.

On August 13, 2025, at approximately 2:55 a.m. officers responded to a break and enter in progress at the Shoppers Drug Mart located at 265 Main Street East. Three male suspects fled upon police arrival with one suspect arrested at the scene. A second suspect attempted to flee in a waiting blue Honda CRV and was arrested a short distance away.

One suspect and one male police officer were transported to hospital having sustained non-life threatening injuries incurred during arrest. Both were assessed by medical staff and released.

The Honda CRV has been confirmed as stolen out of Toronto.

As a result of the investigation:

Omar Leo-Boussou (31) of Toronto, was charged with the following:

  • Break and Enter
  • Possession of Break In Instruments
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5000

Tyrone Stewart (47) of Toronto, was charged with the following:

  • Break and Enter
  • Possession of Break In Instruments (2 Counts)
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5000
  • Flight from Police
  • Fail to Comply with Release Order (2 Counts)

Leo-Boussou and Stewart have been held is custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.

The HRPS is attempting to identify and locate the third outstanding suspect and is requesting anyone with information regarding this investigation, including any security or dash cam video from the area of Main Street East and Commercial Street between the hours of 2:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. to contact the 1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2416.
