Investigators in Burlington Look to Identify Break and Enter Suspect

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is looking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in several break and enter occurrences in Halton region and Hamilton. 

In June, 2024, officers with the 3 District Criminal Investigations Bureau began investigating a series of daytime residential break and enter occurrences that were taking place in Burlington.

The suspect is responsible for at least 5 entries along the Lakeshore area ranging from Aldershot to near Oakville....

Caught On Tape – Suspect to Identify: Occurrence Number: 2024-232764

On Friday, August 16, 2024, at approximately 6:30 p.m., the victim's wallet was stolen from her child's stroller while shopping at the Toronto Premium Outlets located at 13850 Steeles Avenue in the Municipality of Halton Hills.

Shortly after, a suspect used the victim's debit card to make a purchase at a Shell Gas Bar located at 7540 Winston Churchill Boulevard in the City of Mississauga.

Retail Theft - Suspect to Identify: Occurrence Number: C2024-803504

 On Friday, August 9, 2024, at approximately 7:15 p.m., a male and a female attended the Shoppers Drug Mart located at 4524 New Street in Burlington. They selected 37 Nicorette products, totalling over $2,100, which they concealed in a bag under the female’s coat. They then exited the store without making any attempt to pay. 

Suspect 1:  Female, medium build, approx. 5’5”,  in her 30s, with brown hair, wearing a black tank top, black pants, black sunglasses, black shoes, and carrying a black coat.

On Tuesday, August 20, at 12:45 p.m., two females attended the Shoppers Drug Mart located at 2501 Third Line in Oakville. They selected more than 60 items, including skin care products and vitamins, totalling value more than $2,635, which they concealed in large bags. They left the store without making any attempt to pay.

Suspect 1:  Female, large build, 5’7”, 40-50 years old, wearing a black sun hat, green shawl, long, grey skirt, black sunglasses, and carrying a large, black handbag.

Retail Theft - Suspect to Identify: Occurrence Number: 2024-231710

On Thursday, August 15, 2024 at approximately 6:19 p.m., a male attended the LCBO at 321 Cornwall Road in Oakville. He selected 18 bottles of alcohol, with a total value over $1,300. He placed the bottles in a shopping cart and left the store, making no attempt to pay.
