On July 19, 2024, a male suspect attended the Shoppers Drug Mart store located at 2501 Third Line, Oakville.
The suspect stole 21 items, including allergy medication and pain relief ointment, valued at more than $775.
Suspect: Male, 40-45 years old with short, black hair, wearing black running shoes, dark shorts with yellow numeral lettering, and a white t-shirt with blue numeral writing.

On April 16, 2024, at approximately 6:10 p.m., an unknown male suspect entered the Rogers Store located at 270 Hays Boulevard, Oakville. The male stole a cellphone worth more than $2,200.
Suspect: Male, Black, 20-30 years old, medium build, black coat, blue jeans, black running shoes, black headphones on head, and black camo-style knapsack.

On January 14, 2024, at approximately 2:30 p.m., two male suspects entered the Sunglass Hut located in Mapleview Mall, Burlington. The males proceeded to try on multiple pairs of sunglasses, concealing $1,500 worth of merchandise before leaving the store, making no attempt to pay.

On July 13, 2024, a male suspect attended the Home Hardware store at 5111 New Street in Burlington. The male selected numerous items, valued over $1,000, and placing them in a green, plastic bag. The male then left the store making no attempt to pay for the items.
Upon exiting the store, a store employee confronted the male and was able to recover the stolen items. The male then made threats of violence before fleeing.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has launched a new initiative to help combat auto thefts in the Town of Oakville.
Aftermarket GPS trackers contribute to the recovery of approximately 40% of stolen vehicles in Oakville, and police hope their broader use will reduce auto thefts and lead to even more recoveries.
