The Halton Regional Police Service has identified a driver wanted in connection with a pedestrian hit and run incident.

 

On February 18th 2024 at approximately 6:30pm the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) responded to a reported hit and run accident near the intersection of Kingsway Drive and Winterbourne Drive, Oakville. Investigation determined that an elderly female was stuck by a vehicle which fled the scene prior to police arrival. The victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries and continues to recover. Investigation was undertaken by the Oakville Criminal Investigations Bureau with a suspect identified.

 

On March 1, 2024 Jenna Tedesco (36) of Oakville, was arrested and charged with the following:

(1)    Fail to Remain at the Scene of an Accident Causing Bodily Harm

 

An upcoming court date has been set for April 2, 2024.
