Regional Auto Theft Task Force Recovers Multiple Stolen Vehicles

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) Regional Auto Theft Task Force has recovered multiple stolen vehicles and disrupted an organized auto theft network operating in the GTA.
On September 8, 2023, HRPS officers executed a search warrant at a shipping business located in Orangeville. Five stolen vehicles were recovered at this location and recovered by police (see photos attached to this media release).

On July 30 and August 20, 2023, two female suspects attended L.L. Bean, located within Oakville Place Mall at 240 Leighland Avenue, Oakville.
In total, the suspects stole 18 men's and women's jackets worth over $11,000.
They have been seen with a white hatchback vehicle.

On July 10, 2023, two suspects entered the Sunglass Hut located at 900 Maple Avenue in Burlington. They selected three pairs of sunglasses with a total value of more than $1,000 and concealed them in shopping bags. The females left the store without making any attempt to pay.
