On May 16, 2022, just before 2:00 pm, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Steeles Avenue and Sixth Line in Halton Hills. As a result of an investigation, Lucas Cook (39) of Ancaster was charged with operation while impaired.

On May 12, 2022, the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) responded to an address in the area of Ontario Street North and Woodward Avenue in Milton, for reports of a group of suspects stealing catalytic converters from multiple vehicles in a parking lot. The suspects were observed entering a vehicle and leaving the parking lot.
HRPS officers attended the area and located the suspect vehicle. Four occupants were arrested without incident. Investigators later obtained judicial authorization...

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is pleased to announce it has been awarded funding to expand its Mobile Crisis Rapid Response Teams through the Ministry of the Solicitor General’s (the Ministry) Mobile Crisis Response Teams Enhancement Grant.
The HRPS is among 28 Police Services that have received grant funding through the Ministry to increase their existing capacity to respond to mental health crisis calls.
