On Sunday August 21st, 2022 the Halton Regional Police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Guelph Line north of 25 Side Road, Milton.
At approximately 11:10am, a white SUV had been traveling southbound on Guelph Line when it left the roadway and collided with a raised driveway culvert. A lone male occupant was assessed by responding EMS and unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. He was pronounced deceased on scene.

The Halton Regional Police Service - Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit (CASA), is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male responsible for two sexual assaults that occurred on the Union Gas Trail, located between Beaty Trail and Trudeau Drive, in Milton.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has made an arrest and laid multiple charges in a human trafficking investigation.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating a suspicious fire in Burlington.
On August 11, 2022, at approximately 9:30 pm police and Burlington Fire were called to a commercial property on Sumach Drive. At the time of police arrival, several motorhomes (RVs) parked at the property were found to be on fire.
Burlington Fire were able to extinguish the flames quickly and no physical injuries were sustained as a result of the fire however damage is estimated to be in excess of $500, 000.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is seeking the public’s assistance is locating a missing Oakville woman.
Kaitlyn Simmonds (27) of Oakville was last seen on foot on June 29, 2022 in the area of South Service Road and Casablanca Boulevard in Grimsby.
