The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has laid multiple charges after the arrest of a fraudster who targeted new Canadians.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) and Halton Healthcare have officially partnered to launch a pilot Mobile Crisis Rapid Response Team (MCRRT), which will provide enhanced support and care to individuals across the region who are experiencing a mental health crisis.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested five males, and laid multiple charges after a stolen vehicle was located in Oakville.
On May 2, 2025, at 2:30 am, HRPS officers observed a stolen Honda Civic travelling in the area of Ninth Line and Dundas Street East. The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has confirmed the identity of the male victim killed on the evening of April 29, 2025 in Burlington.
