Information Sessions

To learn more about the training, selection process and commitment requirements for becoming a Volunteer Crisis Responder, please attend our upcoming information session.

The Victim Services Unit of the Halton Regional Police Services believes that every victim has the right to heal from crime and or trauma. Victims, witnesses and their families have the right to be treated with compassion, respect and have access to the services that they need, when they need it most.

The Victim Services Unit is comprised of highly trained staff and volunteers who provide immediate telephone and on-scene intervention, emotional support, community referrals and limited financial assistance to victims of crime and tragedy throughout Halton Region.
