The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing Oakville woman.
Lorette Kulawic (88) of Oakville was last seen in the afternoon of April 17th, 2024, in the area of Bronte Road and Rebecca Street in Oakville.

On March 25th, 2024, members of the Halton Regional Police Service Regional Drugs and Organized Crime Unit concluded a four-month investigation dubbed Project Fade. On April 2, 2024, at approximately 3:00pm, the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) responded to the area of Speers Road and Dorval Drive in Oakville for a report of a male who was attempting to enter a residence. On April 2, 2024, at approximately 2:15 pm the Halton Regional Police Service responded to the Milton Go station, located at 780 Main Street East, in response to a report of a male attempting to steal vehicles parked within the Go lot. Following the previous media release, we can now confirm additional information regarding the deceased individuals. They are as follows: a male aged 18 from Milton and a female aged 16 from Brampton, who were travelling together in one vehicle, and a male aged 26 from Milton in the other vehicle.
